I want to look at your
bookshelf, what books did you buy and why? Did the title reach out
and grab you? Did the cover tell a story of what the book might
contain? Or was it a white cover with the word “Book” written on it?
More than likely the cover had to a lot to do with your buying
decision.
The whole point in giving your Internet product a cover is so it
looks like you could zip over to your local bookstore and pick up a
copy. That's why eCovers increase sales, they give the customers
mind something to grasp.
A graphic designer might charge you anywhere between $75.00 to
$150.00 for one cover and they deserve it. You are paying for their
skill, the time they will save you, and more important their design
vision and imagination.
But, there’s no reason you cannot make your own eye-popping
cover simply by viewing examples and mimicking what they have done.
In the past trying to make your own eCovers was a difficult task,
but with the eCover software programs that have popped up making
eCovers has never been simpler.
